Thunder Road Doubleheader Set for August

BARRE -- The Pepsi Night event rained out on Thursday, July 2 at Barre's Thunder Road has been moved to Friday, August 14, creating a rare two-day doubleheader at the track; Thursday, August 13 will see the regularly scheduled VT ACE Hardware Dealers event.

The Thursday event will be the third and final 100-lap race for the ACT Tiger Sportsman Tri-State Series, in addition to regular racing for the Late Model, Street Stock, and Junkyard Warrior divisions. Friday will be a regular card for all four classes.

Fans that bring a ticket stub from the Thursday, Aug. 13 race will be admitted on Friday, Aug. 14 for a discounted rate -- $5 for adults, $10 for a family of four.
