Lepage Enters Darlington Nationwide Race

DARLINGTON, S.C. -- Vermont native Kevin Lepage is on the official entry list for the NASCAR Nationwide Series' Diamond Hill Plywood 200 at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway on Friday. Lepage will drive the #52 Means Racing Ford for car owner Jimmy Means.

Lepage has two previous starts in Nationwide Series competition this season, finishing 36th in Derrike Cope's #73 Dodge at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway in March, and 33rd in a Means Racing Chevrolet at Texas Motor Speedway in April. The Shelburne driver has two career Nationwide Series victories and four pole positions to his credit in 247 starts.

The Means Racing #52 entry has had six drivers in the first nine events in 2009; 18 year-old Trevor Bayne posted a season-best finish of 23rd at Bristol. Brad Teague failed to qualify the car at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway in April, while Kevin Hamlin (right) missed the field at Richmond (Va.) Int'l Raceway last week.
